Excited to be working with Revision Dance Company this weekend for a very special 10th-anniversary performance. I am making some AR performances and virtual production in Unreal Engine for this show. Details here.

Had a great time filming the new work choreographed and directed by Marielis Garcia at the University of Maryland College Park. Used 2 GH5’s and a GH4 as an alternate. Also used a portable dolly for a few shots. Worked with Eric- lighting, Mollie- set, Sean- projection, Sam- music, Maria- stage manager, Kate- all the things. Dancers: Cyrah Ward and Carlo Antonio.

Jury Gon Set You Free

Jury Gon Set You Free is an anti-spiritual performance piece that takes the absurdist perspective of giving comfort to bad police who murder Black people, especially those people who are unarmed. Elements of the piece are created as a 3D video game to demonstrate the impermanence of this injustice and the need for creative solutions.

Anxious
Anxious draws on the personal experience of living in a society where my presence creates real and manufactured fear. Police have been empowered to kill and lie about killing black people and have been supported by prosecutors and juries instead of arrested and convicted. In a country where majority rules, being a minority can feel dangerous. It creates real and manufactured anxiety. Hopefully, it is starting to change! #blacklivesmatter
