Anxious draws on the personal experience of living in a society where my presence creates real and manufactured fear. Police have been empowered to kill and lie about killing black people and have been supported by prosecutors and juries instead of arrested and convicted. In a country where majority rules, being a minority can feel dangerous. It creates real and manufactured anxiety. Hopefully, it is starting to change! #blacklivesmatter
