Thank you to everyone who has participated, watched and commented on Dance-A-Day 2010. I have loved sharing it with you and I hope you continue to watch, get inspired by and make art. What lies next in your path? Only time will tell but you have the power to control your life. Don’t allow sadness and anger to dominate, they have their place in a small slightly used corner.

Standing naked before God. No shame. It is how he made me, just as I am. Feeling a bitter, sweet, sad and a glorious meloncholy.

To realize that the past is gone is to come back to yourself. Dancing with yourself. Being alone. That truth of perception when alone is among many people.

What is it that makes us search for eternal love, the kind that resides only in our minds. Projecting ourselves into a future that misses the very moment we are living means we are faced with the inevitable time when the thrill of our ideal life evaporates painfully slow.

The trees at the Botanic Gardens are so lovely it makes me want to dance with them twice. Happy Kwanzaa
