Black Russian Games is a game company that creates games based on the performing arts including dance, music, and theater.

In The Owl, The Fish, The Maiden, and He, you play by clicking on the words in the correct order. Your reality gets subsumed by the specter of unarmed people killed by police and the system refusing to charge, prosecute or convict—a calculated deconstruction of your status. A media-focused experience.

Natasha: A Game of Dance– In this game, you journey through a world of dance learning new forms and performing for your audiences. This game using motion capture animation generated by Company E.

Happy Hour- An advergame promoting the live video game Happy Hour by Spooky Action Theater and MachinaX.

Boris Willis Moves is a movement and technology company that produces interactive performances using computer games and mobile devices.

Boris Willis Boris Willis is the founder of Black Russian Games, Chief Artistic Officer of Boris Willis Moves and an Associate Professor of Experimental Game Design at George Mason University. He has performed with Liz Lerman/Dance Exchange, Jacob’s Pillow’s Men Dancers and Streb.

He has created video art for choreographer Sharon Mansur and for his blog danceaday.com. Willis has an MFA in Dance and Technology from The Ohio State University, a BFA in Dance from George Mason University, and is a graduate of The NC School of the Arts. He is the recipient of a Kennedy Center Local Dance Commission and a Virginia Commission for the Arts Choreography Fellowship.
